Everywhere Theatre Group is a Brooklyn based theater company founded by Teddy Nicholas, Leah Winkler and Chase Voorhees. We begin to create art by exploring what we see in our everyday lives and though playful observations of our own generation and pop-culture are ready-made materials as we strive convey the harsh complexity of human nature, nothing is safe. Our work exploits the honesty that often goes hand in hand with human trash, such as Internet sex videos, mental un-health, overzealous religious fervor and technological magical realism. We force collisions between the everyday and the impossible by dismantling the mundane aspects of life and combining them with playful illogical improbabilities, constructing multi-layered landscapes of fresh and surprising performance. We believe that drama is everywhere and we can create everywhere using anything as tools to generate theatrical material.
