Meet the Cast of Big Girls Club (The Formula Play)
ETG has officially started rehearsals for Big Girls Club ( The Formula Play) at HERE Arts Center and I wanted to take a moment to introduce to you three lovely ladies I’m super excited to be working with! We actually all met about a year and a half ago when we went through three days of really fun and intense auditions for the New York Neofuturists . Though simultaneously rejected, we definitely recommend auditioning or taking their workshop if you want to draw out some highly personal and unique material (their whole shtick is theater with no illusions) – and who knows? You might meet some awesome collaborators
In no particular order…here they are!

Jen Kwok (JEN) is a ukulele-slinging writer and performer based in Brooklyn, NY. Within a few months of performing stand-up, Jen was brought to national attention as a finalist in NBC’s Stand-Up for Diversity. She has quickly established herself as one of the quirkiest young comedians working across genres, performing at such diverse venues as Gotham Comedy Club, Highline Ballroom, and The Bowery Poetry Club. Jen’s comedic exploits have also landed her on CNN and PBS, and in the pages of Rolling Stone Magazine and The New York Times. http://jenkwok.wordpress.com
Lindsay Mack (LINDSAY, BRAD) received her BFA in performance from Hofstra University. Credits include: A Pale Horse… (Ontological-Hysteric), Class Project (The Public Theater), Into the Woods (Cinderella – CNR Drama, NY), The Fake Madwoman (Snapple Theater Center), The Photograph (Under St. Mark’s). She is a founding member of White Apron Productions, an all female Commedia dell’arte theatre company. Along with performing, Lindsay is also a certified stage combat instructor, and special skills include stage makeup, dialects, and a strong movement/dance background. http://lindsayamack.weebly.com/index.html
Nancy Upton (NANCY) has studied theater at Tulane University and Circle in the Square Theater school. She is currently pursuing a degree in history and creative writing at NYU. She has appeared in VOLUME 2: HORROR at the Ontological Hysteric Theater with ETG followed by Big Girls Club (The Happy Dance Dance Princess Show!) in the Antidepressant Festival at the Brick Theater.
